Petopia offers a fun and exciting experience for your pup’s first day! Dogs are grouped based on their playing style, temperament, and size. For shy and anxious dogs, Petopia offers a gradual introduction to the group (that’s why our trial days are full days and not just an hour or two). Although it may take time for your dog to adjust to the new surroundings, we always ensure that it is a positive experience for them.
Petopia’s experienced staff monitors all guests and provides personalized care and attention to ensure safe and positive socialization. Dogs will have the opportunity to play and interact with other dogs in their group, and Petopia’s staff will help them channel their natural pack instincts. After a day at Petopia, dogs will be tired and ready for a good night’s sleep.
Your dog(s) will have a full day of exercise and fun with up to 7 hours of playtime. Morning playtime is from 7:30-11am and afternoon playtime is from 1-4:30pm. Every day is filled with stimulation, interaction, play as well as nap and quiet time.
Within their playgroups, dogs can play-wrestle, fetch balls, play tug-of-war, splash in our doggie pools, catch bubbles, or just “hang out” with their buddies or a loving Petopia staff member. We have a huge 6000 sq ft fully secure outdoor play area for dogs to run, play, get lots of fresh air and do their business.
You will see the positive impact of the daycare on your dog as soon as they are back in your arms. Consistent attendance at least once a week (ideally on the same scheduled days) will help your dog feel more comfortable and get to know his regular buddies. It also creates a safer environment for all and helps staff become familiar with the dog’s personality and behavior.
At Petopia, we focus on providing a healthy balance of rest, play, and learning for all our canine guests. Our daily schedule includes rest periods to help dogs avoid unhealthy overstimulation and achieve physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Lunchtime rest periods are provided between 11am to 1pm, where dogs are typically fed in crates to ensure their safety and so we can monitor their food intake.
Rest time following afternoon play group gives your pup the opportunity to unwind before pick up time. Like human athletes, rest helps dogs avoid physical injury and provides a space for them to relax, so they don’t become overstimulated or over-aroused during play. Our proactive approach ensures a safe and supportive social environment for every dog in their care.
All 5 day passes (full & half day) expire in 30 days. All 10 day passes (full & half day) expire in 35 days. All 20 day passes (full & half day) expire in 50 days.
